You’ll never boil an egg again!

  1. Place cold eggs in a steamer basket over a pot of boiling water, cover, and steam for 13 -14 minutes depending on your preference. (13 minutes yields an egg with a slightly deeper yellow, softer center; 14 minutes yields a uniform yellow yoke; not overcooked)

  2. Immediately transfer the eggs to a cold water bath to chill and prevent overcooking.

  3. Peel as usual. You will love how easily the shell comes off, leaving an immaculate, unblemished, perfectly cooked egg. 'Nuff said, except for "Thank you!" to @testkitchen for this great hack!
